Shazam Star Zachary Levi has joined the cast for Benedict Cumberbatch’s upcoming film Prisoner 760, the film will be based on a real life event. The film will be directed by Kevin Macdonald the film has been tagged as ‘a fight for survival against the impossible odds.’

The film is currently being shot in South Africa, the film will be having a star studded cast alongside Cumberbatch and Zachary Levi we will also be seeing Jodie Foster, Tahar Rahim and Shailene Woodley.

The official synopsis of the film reads out “Losing all hope, Slahi finds allies in defense attorney Nancy Hollander (Foster) and her associate Teri Duncan (Woodley). Together, they face countless obstacles in a desperate pursuit for justice. They are aided by a military prosecutor named Lt. Stuart Couch (Cumberbatch).”

Zachary Levi will be playing the role of agent Neil Buckland who is an old friend of Couch played by Benedict Cumberbatch. The film is based on the best-selling novel by Slahi ‘Guantanamo Diary’ and Mcihael Bonner has penned the script of the film.

Prisoner 760 is being produced by Cumberbatch along with Adam Ackland and Leah Clarke through their banner of SunnyMarch. Lloyd Levin and Beatriz Levin of Black Sheep Pictures, Mark Holder and Christine Holder of Wonder Street, and Branwen Prestwood Smith will be co-producing the project.

Uptil now the film is still under the works and has not gotten itself a release date.
